Hierarch has consistently produced very good offspring out of a wide variety of mares. In Holland, with the surplus of Cocktail sons, he was sometimes overlooked as a sire and therefore not always bred to the very best mares. Even so, with what were described as average mares in his foal report, Hierarch produced offspring of a nice type and always with excellent movement. Since coming to the United States in 2001, Hierarch has gotten some very good Warmblood and Thoroughbred mares, and has produced some exceptional offspring. Currently, his his grand-daughters Sizarma and Prizarma are competing successfully on the West coast, along with sons Bentley and Upperton. On the East coast, look for Versace in the FEI 4-Year-Old Classes this year.
