Offspring in the Spotlight

Olivia

2002 black mare out of Banker's Express xx bred by Tam Farm

Rated PREMIUM and entered into the main mare book for Westfalen!

Photo at left: Olivia and her amateur owner completing their first ever dressage test.  They won their class, and had the highest score of the entire two day show!  Congratulations!

**Edited to add**- Olivia was the first young horse ever that her owner, started under saddle, although she's been a rider for many years.  Kudos to Randi for a job well done!

Offspring in the Spotlight

Willow May

2003 bay/roan sabino mare out of Balou (Benvolio x Martini) bred by Geoff Osol

PREMIUM rating GOV as a young horse

Photo at left: May May and her junior owner- October, 2007.  May May's owner plans to compete her in dressage and eventing, and the pair will travel to Aiken, South Carolina this winter to train and compete.  The two other Olivier colts from this mareline were both deemed stallion prospects.

May May's owner, Alice, was just fourteen years old when she started May May under saddle.  This is just one more example of the fantastic disposition Olivier's foals are known for.

Another point of interest about May May is that she clearly exhibits the sabino gene that Olivier passes on.  She not only has a huge amount of white roaning in her coat, she also hasleg markings extending above her hocks as well as white markings extending over her eyes and onto her muzzle!  Very flashy.

Ovation is more than impressing us with his talent undersaddle.  He is soft, supple and so willing to please! "
