Olivier is now fully qualified for the

2008 OLYMPIC SELECTION TRIALS

in San Juan Capistrano, California!

Olivier is also the Horse of the Year for the United States Dressage Federation for 2007!

2007 Recap- Elisabeth and Olivier have enjoyed a tremendous amount of success in their first year at the Grand Prix level. Beginning the season by winning their first national level Grand Prix in Florida (66.8%), they went on to be undefeated at the CDI Raleigh Brentina Cup qualifier (72%) and at the National Dressage Championships (winner of both the preliminary and final Brentina Cup classes, and overall Champion with a 71.5% in the final). They were also undefeated at King Oak Dressage Days, scoring over 71% in both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special. In mid-August, they made their international Grand Prix debut at the Saugerties CDI, finishing just 1% behind the winner in the Grand Prix, and winning the Grand Prix Freestyle with a 71%. Olympic judge, Axel Steiner, gave the performance a 75% and said it was the best Freestyle he had seen all year, in the US or Europe. Elisabeth and Olivier then went on to compete in the New England Dressage Association CDI as well as at the prestigious Dressage at Devon. In the company of much more experienced horses and riders, Elisabeth and Olivier held their own with top finishes in both competitions. Olivier is now enjoying some much deserved down time, and we look forward to seeing him and Elisabeth in Florida.

2006 Brentina Cup Champions- 70.39% (Intermediare II competition at USET Festival of Champions)

*For the 2006 season, Olivier has qualified for the inaugural Brentina Cup- a competition for riders 18-26 at the Intermediare II level (just below Grand Prix). Olivier and Elisabeth are the youngest combination trying to qualify, and we just received word that they will finish with the HIGHEST average in the country, a 68.29%!
