Saratoga 1999

For the first time in Pie's adult life, he was wonderful for the two weeks before Saratoga, which was only a telling of what was to come.  This year was much better than last year, with Elisabeth and Pie winning EVERY class they entered!  With scores up to 64% at 4th level, they were the 3rd level Junior/Young Rider Champions.

 King Oak Dressage Days

against all adults, Pie and Elisabeth placed well in all of their classes, usually just out of the ribbons, with one exception in 3rd level test 3, where they were 2nd with a score of 60%.  This score earned Elisabeth her bronze medal!

Traveling in for just the day, Pie took the judges by storm, placing 1st in 4th level test 1.  After Pie had a very scary slip in the medium canter, he came back to earn all 7's on the rest of the canter work, which has been the weak point for the entire year!  Their final score was a 61.7%!

Huntington Farm Dressage Days

Pie's last show of the year went extremely well, earning a 60% from none other than the great Hilda Gurney!  And a 2nd place in the class of adults!
