Pie's show season was a bit up and down this year.  Elisabeth and Pie had planned on competing in five competitions and attempting to qualify for the 2001 North American Young Rider Championships.  Things did not go as planned, however, because Pie injured his shoulder in May.  Unfortunately they only got to do two shows- one in early June, and the other in mid July.  Despite quite a bit of time off, Pie and Elisabeth were very successful at both of these shows, earning a fourth place in a large class at Prix St. Georges!  In 2002, Elisabeth and Pie hope to qualify for the 2002 North American Young Rider Championships.
